200 Hours Vinyasa YOGA Teacher Training
My Yoga Teacher Training is designed to cater for three types of people:
Those who want to learn how to teach yoga, to bring the benefits of yoga to more people, to help others.
Those who want to enhance their professional development, to enrich their existing career with the benefits of yoga.
Those who want to deepen their existing practice and understanding of yoga, to understand more about themselves, to enhance their practice, to feed their soul.
Perfect for you if...
This teacher training course is perfect for you if you have practiced long enough to know that you are serious about learning yoga at an in-depth level and have, at minimum, the foundations of a vinyasa in your practice.
This course is right for you if you are looking to achieve one or more of the following:
Start your own full time Yoga business
Start your own part time Yoga classes
Enhance your current profession with the benefits of Yoga
Further develop your yoga profession by learning to teach Vinyasa
Further develop your Yoga profession by learning more about Yoga and yourself
Let me be honest…
I personally do not believe 200 hours is enough time to learn what you need to be able hold space for others in a safe, honest, authentic way while honouring this sacred tradition. I believe 200 hours is the absolute minimum required for you to get a glimpse into what it takes to uphold the tradition within yourself and hold that potent space for others. Getting a certificate at the end of the course does not mean you are more enlightened, intelligent, deep or wise than others and it does not mean you have transformed yourself. It is a giant step towards deepening into your glorious Self but the tradition of yoga is a deep, committed relationship to the practice and to your Self that requires years of patience and courage.
It is my suggestion that you approach this training having deeply thought about your commitment to yoga and understand that this is the first step in a long path to holding space for others in an embodied, informed way. My deepest intention with this training is to uphold the tradition of yoga while infusing it with the most authentic version of myself and translate that open, humble, committed students. If you are interested in a quick turn around certification program, this is not the training for you. I will however do everything I can to set you up for your journey with integrity, authenticity and courage.
My name is Steph and I will be your main instructor for this course. I understand how important it is to feel completely safe and comfortable on this type of immersion so I am here to answer any of your questions or concerns as you consider your options. I love to get to know my students and their story prior to the course and we can do this face to face, by phone or by email – whichever suits you. All you need to do is click here and we can arrange to talk.
In the meantime, here is a bit about my practice…
I own and teach at The Kali Collective Yoga Studio in Glasgow, UK and have over 3000 hours of experience. I have over 500 hours of training and, like you, continually take workshops to further my growth. I named my Yoga School SITA because it is the name of a character from Hindu mythology and represents qualities such as devotion and humility which I believe are essential components to this training. SITA is certified with Yoga Alliance.
You can also get to know me better through Facebook and Instagram.
This program also hosts 3 guest instructors who specialise in their fields of:
The business of yoga
This gives you the highest standard of training in all areas of the program. In addition, I have the assistance of a consultant who has many years of teacher training experience, to double check content of the course and technique of delivering material.
Grounded in the roots of Vinyasa
This training is grounded in the roots of Vinyasa yoga and will be delivered with a high respect and integrity towards the tradition of yoga. Students should expect a training that will trigger a journey into the self by diving deep into philosophy, history, physical practice, breath work and meditation. In addition, other aspects of yoga will be explored such as the physical and subtle body, Ayurveda, and the methods of teaching yoga. This program will take all the ancient teachings of yoga and apply it to modern, everyday life.
The training will be delivered to the level of new teachers so is perfect for people who want to bring yoga into their professional life; whether it’s to start your own classes or to enhance your current profession. Previously qualified instructors also benefit from the training as part of their own CPD or to bring Vinyasa to their professional practice.
Let's talk about it
If you’d like to chat through your options and the pros and cons of each then I’d love to speak to you. You can arrange for me to call you by filling out the form here. In the meantime, you can see what previous students have to say about the different options here.
