VINYASA INTENSIVE: INDIA 2017
Due to a sold out 100 hr immersion in 2017, I will be hosting another in India spring of 2019. Please read below for an idea of what to expect in 2019. More details coming soon!
This is India. This is my magic land. This is the ultimate self-development course and the most advanced training I offer to non-professional yogis. And it's all held in the birthplace of Yoga, India.
To read more about whether this is the perfect course for you and the course structure, please see my page on Vinyasa Intensives. There are only a very limited number of spaces on this course so applicants will be accepted based on the application form they submit.
Rishikesh October 8th - 19th 2017
This 11 day immersion will be held at the Dewa Retreat Centre in Rishikesh, India. It forms the first 100 hours of my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course so it is the most advanced course I offer to non-professionals. You will join the first half of the teacher training course for the ultimate self-development experience.
We are all going to want to make the most of being in India so there will be a portion of the training dedicated to immersing ourselves in Indian culture. Expect to have part of our training hours outside of the studio to observe and participate in activities around Rishikesh.
Students will be staying in shared accommodation. You will be roomed with either two or three other people. Single rooms are available for and additional cost. Please let Steph know right away as single rooms are limited.
Breakfast and dinner will be provided during the immersion. All food is vegetarian.
100 hours Immersion
This will be a 8 day intensive to dive deep into the teachings of yoga and your instructor will be Steph Wall.
Each day will include a 3 hour practice followed by a day of lessons. The morning practice will be rooted in Vinyasa and include meditation, pranayama (breath work) asana (physical practice) and shat kriyas (cleansing techniques). The afternoon lessons will cover yoga philosophy, history and subtle anatomy. Students can expect to dive deep into self study and leave having learned all about yoga and its roots, how to apply it to everyday life and a deeper understanding of the self.
To read more about the course structure, the instructors and who this course is best suited to, please see my section on 100 Hour Vinyasa Intensives.
